A Brief Confession

It was never my intention to document my exploits in one or more books. I am, after all, just a kid in middle school.

Once it became clear my life was not that of an ordinary adolescent, however, I concluded that I owed it to the world to tell my story to the best of my ability.

While I do not claim to be a great writer, I do know my way around a sentence. If it seems at times my adventures cannot possibly be true, let me assure you that every single event actually happened as written.

All of my books list Paul Glen Neuman as the author. Simply put, Neuman does not exist. I made him up.

I decided to write under this pen name because not everyone will appreciate the raw honesty in which my cast of characters is depicted. In this regard, I am primarily thinking about my teachers at Fillmore Middle School.

I am confident my books are accurate and fair from first page to last. Whether or not you agree is entirely up to you.

No one is perfect, especially not this middle school student from a small rural community in California.
